January 17 - WWI and CH 21 Quiz

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome back and great to see you all!  I hope that you had an amazing 3-day weekend!  Today in class we will be discussing World War I and taking our Chapter 21 Quiz.  World War I is pretty interesting stuff, but as we discussed previously the U.S. did not do much in the actual war.  Therefore it is important for us to examine what the U.S. was doing while we waited on the sidelines.  I love this stuff!  I hope that you are all doing great and I am so excited to work with you all today!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objective:
  1. Discuss WWI regarding the decision for the U.S. to enter the war, effects on the homefront, and postwar agreements
Agenda:
  1. Warm-Up #3
  2. Discuss World War I
  3. Closure #3
  4. Chapter 21 Quiz
Homework:
  1. Spanish American War Extra Credit due Friday
  2. Chapter 22 Quiz on Wednesday (Next Week)
  3. 3rd Research Paper Annotated Bibliography due January 22
  4. Outside Reading Project due March 23
  5. APUSH Exam May 11
That's all for the day folks!  I hope that you had fun and found this all interesting!  On Friday we will be discussing the Roaring 20s!  That is also a fun time in American history and we should have a blast looking at it!  Hope you are all well!  Don't forget that we have the Breaking Down the Walls Rally on Friday, which doesn't impact our schedule too badly, just no tutorial and a Rally during 4th.  See you all then!  Take care!

Live long and prosper,

Mr. Marchetti
