February 13 - Happy Galentine's Day!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see all you amazing people!  It's our last day together before we have a week off!  I know I am looking forward to a little break!  Today in class we will be taking our Chapter 25 quiz and we will be watching a little documentary on the Apollo 11 Moon Landing.  This is one of my favorite topics from the Cold War, its very interesting and crazy when you think about the technology available to them in 1969.  I can't wait to see what you all think!  Let's get down to business!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. View a documentary in order to understand the context of the Cold War
Agenda:
  1. Warm-Up #2
  2. Chapter 25 Quiz
  3. When We Left Earth: The Moon Landing
Homework:
  1. Unit 8 Assignment Sheet
  2. Chapter 26 Quiz on Thursday AFTER BREAK
  3. Outside Reading Project due March 19
    1. Make sure to choose a book from the second semester list (must cover a topic from the 20th and/or 21st century)
  4. 4th Annotated Bibliography due March 23
    1. ACC do NOT do this one
  5. APUSH Exam May 8
That's all for the day folks!  I hope that you feel good and ready for a break!  Take care and rest up!  Have a wonderful break!

Live long and prosper,

Mr. Marchetti
