August 26

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be doing quite a bit.  We will finish our introduction to Unit 2 as well as take our Chapter 2 Quiz.  After we finish that we will be practicing writing a thesis.  This is an important skill to master in order to develop yourself as a writer.  Historical writing is argumentative in nature and it is vital that you write a strong thesis in order to assert your claim.  I'm excited to be working with you all again today!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Demonstrate content knowledge about early America through responding to select response questions and short answer prompts
  2. Understand and create thesis statements aligned with the AP rubric criteria
