September 20 - Early Republic and Louisiana Purchase

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will delve into the crazy politics of the first few decades under the newly ratified U.S. Constitution!  There is some pretty darn interesting stuff here so I hope you are as excited and ready as I am!  This should be so much fun!  I am so excited I can't wait!  It is wonderful to see you all and I hope that you are all doing well!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Discuss the issues of early American politics and the post-Constitution government
  2. Analyze primary source documents to understand the discontent of Federalists with the president, Thomas Jefferson
