September 29 - Chapter 9 Quiz and 19th Century Reform Movements

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be taking our Chapter 9 quiz and then discussing 19th century reform movements.  These reform movements have a tendency to show up on the AP Exam so it is absolutely a good idea to make sure you are fairly knowledgable about a couple of them.  You will be working on a little art activity to research one of these movements.  This is also our last day before the week off!  Wonderful to see you all today!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

September 27 - Quick HIPP and Missouri Compromise

September 15 - Articles of Confederation and the Constitution

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be discussing the foundation of American government with the Articles of Confederation and the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.  This may seem like a dry or boring topic but trust me if you are interested in how and why our government functions the way it does this can be truly fascinating and relevant!  I personally love studying the AOC and the Constitution.  I highly recommend opening your mind to these topics and trying to learn all you can!  It is always wonderful to see you all!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

September 13 - 1775 Board Game

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be playing the 177 Rebellion Board Game!  I am so excited!  I love board games, military strategy, and history so much and this brings all of that together!  Also I hope that this is a nice break from the grind of hard academic work we do.  I know that things are tough but this class is worth it if you dedicate the time to it.  I hope you have a ton of fun playing the game today!  Make sure to take care of these games as they were donated to the class!  As always it is great to see all of you beautiful people!  Have fun!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

September 11 - Diagnostic Quiz and Quick Lecture on American Revolution
