February 28 - Chapter 27 Quiz and Start Cold War Timeline

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome back and great to see you all!  Today in class we have a lot to cover.  First we will be taking our Chapter 27 Quiz and then we will be discussing a few things, and then we will be starting a Cold War Timeline Project!  I will be out on Friday so we have to make sure we get you all set up to do the timeline!  The Cold War is a pretty fascinating, but also super complex, topic so it is important that you try your best to understand all that is going on!  Let's do this!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

February 26 - Chapter 26 Quiz

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

February 16 - Finish Atomic Cafe

February 14 - Intro Unit 8 and Start Atomic Cafe

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

Welcome and great to see you all!  Happy Valentine's Day to all of you beautiful people!  Today in class we will be previewing the content of our new unit.  This is another big unit for the semester covering the Cold War!  This is a pretty complex topic that impacts all levels of American society so we will do our best to examine all of those levels!  We will also be starting a documentary, Atomic Cafe, that is a fascinating look at how the invention of Atomic weapons impacted America in the 40s and 50s.  I love this stuff so hope to have some fun discussions with you all!  Let's do this!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

February 12 - Writing Monday

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome back!  It is great to see all of you beautiful people again!  Today in class we will once again be practicing our writing as well as reviewing content on this Writing Monday!  Today's writing activity is a little different as we are working on developing our ability to make linkages between historical concepts, people, events, laws, etc.  This is a great way to get our minds moving and hopefully expand our APUSH abilities!  I am so looking forward to seeing what you all can do!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
