Extra Credit Presentations

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

As I mentioned in class on Friday I will be offering Extra Credit to those who are interested in presenting their End of Year Project to the class over the last few days.  In order to receive extra credit you must sign up on the sheets provided and you must follow the guidelines provided.  Good luck and I hope some of you take advantage of this opportunity!

+10 pts extra credit --> Presentation is around 4-6 minutes long.  Student reads off of slides consistently.  Student does not make eye contact with audience.  Information is lacking and/or historical analysis is insignificant.

+20 pts extra credit --> Presentation is around 6-8 minutes long.  Student maintains eye contact consistently and rarely reads off slides.  Information is well presented and there is a clear historical significance.

+30 pts extra credit --> Presentation is 8-10 minutes long.  Student does not read off of slides and maintains strong eye and body contact with audience.  Information is accurate, relevant, and well researched.

Film Permission Slip

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I hope that everyone had a great weekend and feel good about your performance on the APUSH Exam on Friday!  We are in the endgame now and there are a few things to note for the start of this week.  First, we will be introducing the End of Year Project on Monday.  You will have the opportunity to work either alone or with one other person on your choice of a project.  We will also be enjoying our class time together with some films to experience American history through visuals. 

Please print out, sign, and turn in to me during class on Wednesday.  If you do not turn this in you will not be able to watch the films we view in class.  There will be 5 extra credit points for those who turn it in on time on Wednesday.

May 10 - APUSH EXAM!!!!!!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

This is it!  Today is the AP U.S. History Exam!  I am so proud of all the work you have put in to get here.  I know that if you have been preparing you should have little to no problem on this exam!  I will not see the vast majority of you today so please know that I love each and every one of you beautiful people and the effort that you have put into this class.  Just one more mountain to climb!  You can do this!  Today in class we will be doing nothing!  You will be taking the APUSH exam!  I am so excited for you all!
