February 27 - Course Selection Presentations AND Lecture #21

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see you all!  Today in class the College and Career Councillors will be coming in to present on course selection for your senior year!  Should be fun and informative!  After that we will be jumping into Lecture #21 on the Culture that developed in the United States during the 1940s and 50s.  This should be some interesting stuff! February 15 - CH 25 Quiz and the Moon Landing

February 6 - CH 24 Quiz and Atomic Cafe

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and wonderful to see all you beautiful people!  Today in class we will be taking our Chapter 24 quiz and then we will begin to watch a film that bridges Unit 7 and 8, Atomic Cafe.  This film is great because it uses primary source footage to demonstrate the "atomic culture" that emerged in the aftermath of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the paranoia of the early Cold War.  Should be a lot of fun!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
