Hello all!
It was great seeing you all today and I hope that you enjoyed it!
Today in class we figured out who our clock partners are, and we discussed the article Why Study History? by Peter Stearns, you all had some really interesting ideas and insights into why we are studying history.
After a short break, we discussed our first unit for the year and then went over how to do Cornell notes.
By Monday you should complete Cornell notes for pages 6-22. Please bring your notes and textbook to class on Monday. On Monday we will review your Cornell Notes and we will be having a short lecture on Native Americans & the European Conquest.
I'm really excited to work with you all this year. Enjoy your weekend!
Live long and prosper,
Mr. Marchetti
