Hello ladies and gentlemen,
It was great seeing you all in class today! After a brief warm-up where we talked about indentured servitude we had our first lecture today! We discussed the origins of the Jamestown and Virginia colonies. After our lecture we began a reading activity where you were supposed to read two paragraphs and write a short summary heading of each one. Your heading should have been five words or less!
On Thursday we will begin with a chapter 2 quiz (your notes for chapter 2 are due Thursday as well). After that we will continue our lecture, where we will discuss the Puritans and Massachusetts Bay Colony. Then we will continue our reading activity.
If you are interested I will be going over some multiple choice strategies tomorrow (Wednesday, August 27) during tutorial period. Remember that there are only 35 seats available in my room during tutorial.
I look forward to seeing you all soon!
Live long and prosper,
Mr. Marchetti
